During my exchange semester in Australia, I explored various photographic techniques as part of the Photomedia and Art Practices unit, with a strong focus on abstract image-making. I was particularly drawn to the challenge of creating photographs that detach from recognizable narratives or visual references. By stripping away context, the images invite open interpretation and encourage viewers to engage their imagination freely. This approach pushed me to experiment with creative staging and composition techniques, leading to an image series that emphasizes on ambiguity and textures.
